A message from the board.

Sukhor was set up to do one thing properly: take a building or a site from where it is to where it needs to be, without the client having to chase three trades, two consultants and a contractor who never visits.

Our work falls into three divisions. The first is contracting and civil works: reinforced concrete, groundworks, steel sheds, roads and yards, through to tiling, painting, insulation and finishes. The second is maintenance of oil company facilities and sites — buildings and camps, water and drainage, electrical works, air conditioning, generators, workshops and stores, either on call-off or under a standing contract. The third is property. We own, build and manage offices, accommodation, warehouses and equipment yards, and lease them to the companies working here.

The three sit together deliberately. Because we own property as well as build it, we look at a job the way an owner does, and we can say early when a specification is not worth the money or a programme is optimistic. And because we maintain what we build, we are the ones who live with a shortcut taken during construction. We would rather lose a tender than win it on a number we cannot hold.

We work for oil and gas operators, service companies and contractors, and for private and commercial clients in Tripoli and the surrounding area — on jobs from a single apartment to a full site maintenance contract. Whatever the size, the same person you meet at the first site visit stays with the work through to handover.
